Title: Ill-posedness for incompressible Euler equations at critical regularity
Abstract: We consider the incompressible Euler equations in scaling critical Sobolev spaces, which are also critical for local well-posedness. We show that the initial value problem for the equations is ill-posed at critical regularity. We show some applications of the ill-posedness, including a proof of enhanced dissipation for the dissipative counterpart. Then, we describe how similar results can be obtained for more general fluid equations. This is based on joint works with Tarek Elgindi, Tsuyoshi Yoneda, and Junha Kim.
