Title: Revisiting a classical result on the finite time blow-up for a Navier-Stokes like equation
Abstract: In this talk we will discuss some remarks about a 1D model introduced by S. Montgomery-Smith in 2001, which captures some of the features involved in 3D Navier-Stokes equations. Thus, after explaining the main characteristics of the model and presenting an existence result, we will prove that for sufficiently large initial data, we can get blow up in finite time for it.
